Job Title: Document Controls Assistant\nLocation: Birmingham\nSalary: £16.35 p/hr (equivalent to £34,000 per annum)\n\nAbout the Role: NRL are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controls Assistant to join our clients team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, tracking, and maintaining company documents and records, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nAssist in the management and control of company documents, ensuring they are accurately recorded, stored, and retrieved as needed.\nCreate, update, and maintain electronic and physical document repositories for engineering documents on each project.\nAssign document identification numbers and assist the engineering team with version control.\nReview documents for presentational accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company and client standards prior to issue to third parties.\nMaintain document control systems, including version control and distribution.\nSupport project teams by providing accurate and up-to-date documentation.\nEnsure compliance with document control policies and procedures.\nCoordinate the review and approval process for controlled documents.\nHandle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism.\nProvide administrative support as required, including filing, scanning, and updating records.Requirements:\nPrevious experience in document control or administrative support is desirable.\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).\nFamiliarity with document management systems (DMS) is an advantage.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nStrong communication skills and the ability to liaise with various departments.\nThis is on site position, based out of our clients Birmingham office. \n\nMon- fri\n\n40 hours a week\n\nIf you are a motivated and diligent professional looking for an exciting opportunity, we encourage you to apply.\n\nThe NRL Group connect global companies with the right people to bring engineering projects to life.
