Teaching Personnel is working with a 'Good' Ofsted-rated secondary school in Bramhall to appoint a full-time Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates interested in SEN, SEMH, or educational psychology to gain valuable, hands-on experience in a supportive and professional setting.
Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored academic and emotional support to students with additional needs
* Work closely with SENCo and teaching staff to deliver targeted interventions
* Support students with social, emotional, and mental health challenges
* Assist in managing classroom behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment
* Deliver one-to-one and small group support, both in and out of the classroom
* Contribute to the monitoring and recording of student progress and development
Job Details:
* Location: Bramhall
* Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
* Weekly pay: £419.25 - £500 via Teaching Personnel
* Start date: ASAP
* Duration: Until the end of the academic year, with the potential for a permanent offer
Minimum Requirements:
* A degree in Psychology (or a related subject)
* A genuine interest in child development, mental health, or education
* Confident, empathetic, and able to build strong relationships with students
* Resilient and adaptable, with a proactive approach to challenges
* Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential
