About the Role

* Assertive Inreach Team (Fixed Term vacancy until 31/03/25)
* S117 Review Team (Permanent Full & 18.5 Part Time Vacancy)
* C&PD Hinckley Team (Permanent Vacancy)
We are looking for:
* Newly Qualified Social Workers: £31,074 to £33,294
* Level 2 Social Worker: £34,350 to £37,950
* Level 3 Social Worker: £38,700 to £41,373 plus market supplement of £3,300 (£42,000 to £44,673)
All our teams are friendly and supportive, with regular supervision and manageable workloads. The teams hold weekly Group Supervision Meetings to promote the best possible outcomes for the people we work with across Leicestershire. We provide a comprehensive induction package with ongoing access to bespoke learning and development opportunities, including tailored continuous professional development sessions and access to academic research and practice expertise.
About You
To apply for this post, you must:
* Be a qualified Social Worker and registered with Social Work England.
* Have knowledge of social work methodologies, social care policies such as person-centred approaches and asset-based social work, and relevant legislation including The Care Act, Mental Health Act, and Mental Capacity Act.
* Have experience of effective assessment and risk management delivery, and multi-agency/multidisciplinary working and/or hospital discharge processes.
* Have experience of partnership working with adults to identify and meet need with creative and pragmatic solutions.
* Be a confident communicator skilled in diplomacy, persuasion, assertiveness, and conflict management, and able to build effective working relationships.
* Be able to work proactively individually but also as a team member.
* Have good prioritisation and time management skills and have a valid UK driving licence or access to a vehicle.
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English is an essential requirement for this role.
A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
