The opportunity
Do you offer proven experience in media/video production? Can you create interesting and engaging content? Are you excited about the creative arts?
This is an exciting opportunity to join a world leading university and play a key role in the creation of content for online courses, online advertising and social media.
You will take responsibility for all aspects of media production for an individual course or project from initial design meetings to final delivery. Live action production will involve running multiple cameras, sound, lighting, and teleprompter both in studio and on location with the assistance of your Videographer and Editor.
You will also play an important role ensuring the smooth running of the studio (when in operation) and helping to prepare sets and backdrops.
You will create videos, animations, screencasts, podcasts, course introductions and interviews, based on storyboards that are written by our Learning Designers in collaboration with UAL academics. You will also be responsible for managing the assets you create in a digital repository.
About you
You will have an undergraduate degree or proven experience in media production, post-production and motion graphics, in addition to experience of working on location and in the studio for video and audio production.
You will need experience of following health and safety standards, as well as correctly maintaining, transporting and storing equipment, and backing up media files.
As you will be working with a number of stakeholders, you must have strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across projects effectively, and be able to manage your own time.
You will be happy to work in a flexible and hybrid way, working at least two days a week in the office, in the studio or on location, and adjusting as required for filming needs.
This is a Hybrid role and requires 2 days in the office (currently Tuesdays and Thursdays), with flexibility for filming at locations in addition to High Holborn.
