Head of Art and Photography
TLR 2C £8,279 pa, permanent, from September 2025
We wish to appoint a dedicated, creative, inspiring and energetic teacher to become our Head of Art and Photography from September 2025 and can offer full time or flexible working options will be considered for the right candidate.
You will lead and develop the Artand Photography department ensuring there is an engaging and inspiring Art and Photography curriculum across key stages 3 and 4 which motivates and enables students to learn well and to progress.
We are looking for someone who:
· Is an outstanding practitioner, passionate about their subject and knowledgeable about the best classroom practice and assessment in Art and Photography;
· Has ambition and drive to build a department where students learn well and succeed;
· Has the ability to use data to promote improvement;
· Can demonstrate a proven track record of delivering successful student outcomes;
· Has strong communication skills.
This is an exciting opportunity for a new or experienced middle leader to grow their expertise within a school that is making rapid progress.
