Job Description
Finance Duties and Leadership Responsibilities:
* Finance Department Oversight: Lead the finance team, set goals, and implement a framework to ensure objectives are met.
* Budget and Forecast Management: Prepare budgets, monitor cash flow, and produce monthly forecasts.
* Financial Reporting: Provide monthly P&Ls, income, and expenditure forecasts, ensuring financial processes align with company policies.
* Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis: Deliver financial reports and data to support strategic decisions.
* Stakeholder Management: Oversee stakeholder relationships, manage PO requests, and ensure accurate invoicing and tracking.
* Leadership and Team Management: Manage and mentor the Finance & Administration team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and continuous professional development. Lead by example to foster a collaborative, efficient, and effective team environment.
* Board Pack Preparation: Compile and present the board pack, delivering comprehensive financial updates and key insights to the Senior Leadership Team.
The Successful Applicant
* Highly skilled in financial management with strong commercial acumen and a proven track record of managing budgets and P&L accounts within a large organisation.
* Computer literate, proficient in Excel, SharePoint, and Word.
* Excellent organisational, communication, and presentation skills.
* Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and prioritisation skills, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining accuracy under pressure.
* Strong team player, capable of leading and motivating a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to present effectively in management meetings.
* A qualification in finance (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) is highly preferred but not essential.
