About the Role
The Mental Health Training & Development Senior Manager is an integral part of Latham’s Well-Being & Benefits team. This role will be responsible for helping to build and present mental health training programmes and expand the firm’s well-being support across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia in collaboration with various firm verticals, affinity groups, committees, and practice groups. This role will be located in our London office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
Responsibilities
* Working closely with the Director of Well-Being & Benefits on the continuing development of the firm’s health and well-being strategy, particularly around mental health.
* Taking a leading, high-profile role in creating and delivering mental health trainings, including bespoke sessions for partners, counsel, associates, staff managers, and supervisors, while developing an understanding of the experiences of Latham lawyers, paralegals, and business services staff to create targeted programmes.
* Partnering with internal and external well-being experts to create customised training and support programmes, taking a hands-on role in building, leading, and project managing key programmes and campaigns.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with key members of firm administration, including office leadership, to identify well-being needs and strategies, and assisting local offices in developing and implementing their own regional programmes.
* Developing relationships with well-being contacts globally and seeking networking opportunities within the legal, professional services, and well-being markets.
Qualifications
* Display excellent leadership and self-starting skills necessary for effective management and independent working.
* Demonstrate excellent presentation and public-speaking skills.
* Possess excellent project management skills.
* Clinical experience in the mental health field.
* A bachelor’s degree and clinical training in mental health.
* Progressively responsible experience in training and development, mental health, corporate health and well-being, or project management.
* Significant experience designing, presenting, and/or supporting live training programmes, with public speaking experience preferred.
* Supervisory experience preferred.
* Legal or professional services industry experience preferred.
