Job Advert - Division Information
We are looking for a motivated Registered Mental Health Nurse with post registration experience to work as part of our multidisciplinary team. The position is within our Acute General/Addictions Ward.
As a Mental Health Nurse, your role will include but not be limited to:
Assessing and monitoring the needs of patients
Collaboratively planning the care needs of the patient
Developing positive behavioural support plans with patients
Being an active part of the multi-disciplinary team
Administering medications
To do this you will need the following:
Registered Nurse Qualification (RMN) with a Valid NMC PIN
To be a team player
To be self-aware, seeking support and advice when required
Good listening and rapport building ability
To be able to organize and prioritise your time

16.5 – 32.5 hour contract – 50%

Job Advert Location Description
The Priory Hospital Glasgow is Scotland's leading independent Acute Psychiatric Hospital. We have a range of services including General Adult Psychiatry, Addictions and Eating Disorders
A good knowledge of the Mental Health Act, risk assessments and the care plan approach is required. Experience of working within Acute General Psychiatry/Addictions/ is desirable.
Hours of work will be averaged at 37.5 per week:
Week 1: 4 x shifts
Week 2: 3 x shifts
Week 3: 3 shifts
Week 4: 3 shifts
Shifts will be rotational across days and nights. Day shift hours are 0700-1930 and Night shift 1900-0730
