Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Location: Poole
Days and Hours of Work: 20 flexible hours per week
Reports to: Finance Manager
Job Duties:
1. Assist with:
2. Credit Control including paying invoices and chasing debtors
3. Reconciling company accounts
4. Managing records
5. Performing data entry
6. Identifying and resolving errors in financial records
7. Providing support and reporting to Finance Manager
8. Performing basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phone calls, scanning etc.
9. Handling communications with customers, vendors and colleagues via phone and email
10. process transactions, journals and updating ledgers
11. preparing basic financial reports
12. Assisting with audits, fact checks and resolving discrepancies
13. Taking expenses
14. Posting financial data and accounts
15. Maintaining and improving the organisations accounting process
Skills:
16. Microsoft Office skills
17. Experience of ERP systems
18. Acting in a professional and personally responsible manner
19. Ability to work on their own or as part of a small team
