We have an exciting opportunity for a Planning & Scheduling Manager to join our busy and expanding Infrastructure team who are undertaking a range of Controls & Performance duties on several high-profile Infrastructure and Defence Projects/Programmes. This role is predominantly based in the North with some regional travel required and we would welcome applicants based across Yorkshire, Northwest, Northeast and Scotland. Additionally, this role will provide the opportunity to innovate, collaborate and learn from our experienced and award-winning Planning & Scheduling community and wider extensive Controls and Performance Network. Your key responsibilities will include: Leading members of the planning team to develop and maintain plans on complex projects or programmes. Driving continuous improvement in planning (and interfacing project controls) processes to create efficiency and increasing benefits to our clients. Supporting the implementation, embedding and roll-out of any identified changes to schedule management approaches. Defining both internal and supply chain planning standards and ensuring compliance. Co-ordination of the development and maintenance of Integrated Master Schedules including vertical and horizontal integration of supporting plans. Leading population of information supporting the Integrated Master Schedules such as the Basis of Schedule (BoS). Developing inputs to inform Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis (QSRA) and incorporating schedule contingency into the planning approach. Conducting analysis to understand alternative courses of action or recovery on slipped schedules. Training and coaching clients and less experienced team members on planning processes and practices. Challenging schedule information to ensure it is realistic, robust and stands up to scrutiny. Monitoring the project managers reporting system summarising the progress status of all projects. Monitoring and advise on status of project KPIs. Understanding and be able to explain the EVM reported periodically. Supporting T&T’s recruitment activities to grow and develop the project controls capability. Undertaking line management activities including career development and performance management. Contribute to the national and regional risk communities including Community of Practice.
