Care Assistant (Dayshift) - Care and Support
Located in the residential area of Port Glasgow, we provide Residential and Nursing care for up to 51 residents. As a key person, you will contribute to achieving an excellent standard of care.
About the Role
* Empower Independence: Assist residents with daily routines, promoting positive choices and independence.
* Personalized Care: Follow each resident's personalized care plan, providing hands-on help and thoughtful attention.
* Health and Wellbeing: Monitor residents' health, communicate concerns, and assist with calls to healthcare professionals.
* Champion Dignity: Uphold the dignity and respect of each resident, ensuring they feel valued and cared for.
* Social Support: Encourage social interactions among residents and staff, creating a welcoming environment.
* Safety and Comfort: Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable living spaces, responding quickly to emergencies.
* Nutritional Support: Assist residents who need extra help with eating and drinking.
Requirements
* Qualifications: SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is preferred.
* Experience: At least 6 months of experience as a Care Assistant, or transferable skills.
* Passion: Genuine interest in caring for the elderly and commitment to delivering excellent service.
* Values: Integrity, respect, and teamwork.
