We are looking for a Store Manager Designate to join our retail field team covering our standard stores where needed on a rota basis for 9 shops in London.
You'll join the team on a 3-month fixed-term contract working 35 hours a week. What does this role involve?
From working in a variety of stores you will gain exposure to different markets, layouts and turnover of stores before taking responsibility of your own store. T he Store Manager Designate role provides cover across different locations to support the day to day running of the required stores and includes:
Driving sales and achieving targets
Delivering a high standard of service to customers that is expected by the BHF
Leading and developing a team of staff and volunteers
Deputising for Store Managers.
Stock generation and management
Visual merchandising
Recruitment and training of staff and volunteers.
What are we looking for?
Previous retail experience is essential
Good commercial awareness
Experience of leading and developing teams
Ability to achieve sales targets
Committed to achieving the highest retail standards at all times
Results driven but with a recognition of right result, right way
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to build rapport with people
This role involves providing cover and support to various stores. Therefore, willingness to travel to various sites is essential.
The successful candidate will need a full UK driving licence.
