The Energy Markets and Regulatory Specialist will develop and grow the regulatory reporting and energy market analysis team supporting clients in the UK energy sector. As an experienced Consultant, you will lead tender pitches to win commercially successful business and deliver large scale contracts across a variety of different modes (gas, nuclear, sustainable fuels, etc.) As a subject matter expert in areas relating to regulatory economics in energy, part of your role will be to champion this both internally and externally, including attending events and speaking at conferences to maintain and strengthen the Jacobs brand for regulatory economic analysis in the energy sector. Here's what you'll need Candidate Profile An experienced people leader who can drive vision and purpose. Commercial and delivery experience in a management consultancy environment. Adept at engagement management, maintaining client relationships and keeping projects on track. Adept at developing cross-disciplinary teams to collaborate to solve complex problems. Qualifications & Experience Consultancy sales and project delivery experience. Strong knowledge of the UK energy regulatory environment. Knowledge of markets and market strategies in energy. Relevant academic qualifications and professional memberships Direct experience of working with public and private sector clients. You will have an excellent understanding of energy trends and markets across generation, transmission, distribution and consumption. This will include knowledge of investors, developers and operators across the energy sector. Whilst this role can be based anywhere in the UK within commuting distance of a Jacobs office, there will be a need for travel, often to the London office for face to face meetings with clients and suppliers.
