Our client, a leading Financial Advisory Firm, is seeking a German-speaking Accounts Payable Manager to join their dynamic Accounting team in London. This role involves partnering with various departments to ensure efficient working capital management and overseeing the accounts payable function. The successful candidate will manage a team of AP specialists, develop policies and procedures, and ensure financial accuracy and compliance.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nManage the accounts payable processes and supervise the AP team.\nFoster a high-performance team environment, providing guidance and mentoring.\nEnsure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and other payable transactions.\nOversee financial statement closing and regulatory activities related to accounts payable.\nAct as a key point of contact for external auditors.\nIdentify and implement process optimisations, including automation and system enhancements.\nCollaborate with colleagues across functions to improve the procure-to-pay value stream.About You:\n\n The ideal candidate is a fluent German Speaker, with previous experience in Accounts Payable as well as managing a team.
