Lingfield College is a prestigious day school for pupils aged 11-18. We seek a General Manager to oversee catering services including a 6th Form café and coffee shop.
The role involves managing catering for 800 pupils and staff, and acting as line manager for the Chef Manager at Lingfield Prep School. You will lead large teams at both locations.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage large teams to deliver high-quality catering
* Oversee daily operations of the 6th Form café and coffee shop
* Line manage the Lingfield Prep School Chef Manager
* Ensure operational excellence, safety, and quality standards (HACCP)
* Oversee hospitality and event lettings
* Drive continuous improvement and adapt services to meet needs

* Proven experience as a General Manager in a high-volume, quality-focused environment
* Experience managing and supporting teams
* Financial acumen, budget management, and commercial performance skills
* Strong coaching, delegation, and influencing skills
