Known for their outstanding reputation and commitment to excellence, they offer a collaborative and supportive environment with ample opportunities for career growth.Position Overview:We are seeking a talented Private Client Solicitor to join a thriving and experienced team. Reporting directly to the Head of Private Client, the successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ PQE, specialising in wills, estate administration, lasting powers of attorney, trusts, and related private client matters. This role offers significant opportunities for professional development within a forward-thinking firm.Key Responsibilities:
* Advising clients on wills, estate planning, trusts, tax issues, powers of attorney, estate administration, and inheritance matters.
* Managing incoming instructions and supporting the wider team.
* Conducting client meetings at various locations including homes, nursing homes, and hospitals.
* Building strong relationships with clients and local professionals.
* Drafting legal documentation and correspondence accurately.
* Managing client billing effectively.
* Utilising case management software daily.
* Participating in marketing events and contributing to the firm's business development activities.
Requirements:
* 3-8+ years PQE in Private Client law.
* Strong expertise in estate planning, will preparation, and powers of attorney.
* Experience handling taxable estates and trust administration.
* Ability to draft complex legal documents with high accuracy.
* STEP membership is essential; Association of Lifetime Lawyers membership is desirable.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Competent with Microsoft Word and willingness to learn case management systems.
