The Role.
A key part of our strategy is to deepen our relationships with our core clients in the sports media sector. These include broadcasters (Sky, NBC Universal, Amazon & Netflix etc.), rights holders (FIFA, F1, the NFL & the PGA etc.), and sport agencies (IMG, Infront, CSM & Publicis etc.). As the primary point of contact for our clients, our Account Managers are responsible for building meaningful relationships that grow existing revenues and create new revenue opportunities for the company. In addition to manging current clients in Europe, you will have the opportunity to bring in and develop new clients, especially in the broadcast sector. This role reports to the Commercial Director.
What you will own.
* Day to day relationship with existing clients, with a focus on renewals and upselling new products or services.
* Developing new business to grow overall revenues from your territory.
* Exceeding sales targets.
* Creating sales presentations and proposals.
* Product champion, passionately advocating for a specific product (tbc), acting as the link between clients, commercial and wider internal teams, being on top of product updates and developing commercial strategies.
* Collaborating with the editorial, insights and marketing teams to leverage our content calendar and other activities.
* Maintaining accurate client information in Salesforce.
* Reporting clearly on the sales pipeline and forecasting future revenues.
* Representing the company at industry events.
* Regular client touch points, including face-to-face meetings or client training and support sessions.
What you will bring.
* A track record of building client relationships.
* Experience in subscription sales and business development, ideally in the sport sector.
* An entrepreneurial spirit.
* Strong communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to think creatively about solutions for clients, that go beyond individual products.
* Experience using Salesforce
* Strong commercial acumen.
* The ability to work independently and to get things done.
