Key Responsibilities:
* Negotiation & Contract Management – Drive supplier negotiations, ensuring cost efficiencies, favourable terms, and strong contractual agreements.
* Supplier Relationship Management – Build and maintain strategic relationships with wafer fabs and electronics contract manufacturers, ensuring long-term collaboration.
* Supply Chain Optimisation – Develop and implement strategies to improve supplier performance, manage risks, and prevent supply gaps.
* Cost Control & Performance Management – Push for cost reductions while ensuring quality and delivery standards are met.
* Strategic Supplier Development – Work closely with a select group of key suppliers, ensuring they function as an extension of the company.
What’s Crucial for This Role?
* Hands-on experience managing wafer fabs from a customer perspective—understanding their processes, capabilities, and challenges.
* Strong expertise in working with electronics contract manufacturers, ensuring quality, reliability, and cost control.
* A strategic mindset, but also someone who is hands-on and relentless in securing supplier commitments.
* Proven negotiation skills to drive supplier performance and cost efficiencies.
* Experience in semiconductor, electronics, or advanced manufacturing supply chains.
* Must be able to travel on a monthly basis to oversee key fab partnerships.
