Main duties of the job
This role is a crucial post in ensuring that NBT is compliant with statutory and mandatory requirements for all Retained Estates service provision across a complex and multi-site organisation.
The role will provide assurance of hard services compliance to the Facilities Operations Director, and collate and monitor asset and lifecycle performance. Supporting the Trusts agenda of providing an appropriate and compliant environment to all patients, visitors and staff.
Pro-actively monitoring compliance metrics and producing dashboards identifying trend for remedial and/or improvement programmes to enhance the NBT estate and its infrastructure.
Job responsibilities
Produce asset management policies, processes and associated procedures with engagement from project and operational teams.
Use of the CAFM system (Planet) to utilise Asset Management Information to generate reports and inform capital spend budgets.
To provide support and guidance to the operational teams to ensure compliance with statutory legislation and critical maintenance of buildings services equipment.
To produce an asset hierarchy to ensure any future asset data captures are done in line with an agreed asset structure.
To complete a review of the asset database for each building, assessment and allocation of asset criticality including engagement with operational teams.
Assistance with producing data to inform the development of future planned maintenance budgets and labour structures.
To carry out statutory compliance audits and track rectification against any actions, working and advising the operational teams responsible for the rectification.
Liaison with project and operations teams to ensure handover of newly installed assets is captured into planned maintenance tasks, whether this be through asset change or through data from O&Ms.
Person Specification
Shortlisting Criteria
* Certificate or Diploma in Asset Management.
* Health & Safety training (IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH General Certificate).
* Experience of producing, managing and updating mechanical and electrical forward maintenance registers and lifecycle databases.
* Experience of carrying out statutory and mandatory compliance audits and assisting in the production of rectification plans.
* Experience of Computer Aided Facilities Management systems, using them to import new asset data and amend PPM regimes.
* Experience of creating asset structures.
* Experience of deploying and managing asset change processes.
