Our Client is currently seeking to recruit experienced personnel for the following roles: - CNC Turner - Miller Programmer /Setter Operators - Scope of Position: To produce machined parts as required while maintaining standards of accuracy and finish. To complete jobs in a safe and efficient manner. Key Responsibilities: • Manufacture parts to drawings using manual and / or CNC machine tools. • Complete process cards with the appropriate following information. • Set and operate machines in a safe manner. • Use safety equipment such as machine guards where necessary. • Perform basic daily maintenance to machines e.g. cleaning, lubrication etc. • Maintain the work area in a tidy condition free from hazards. • Inform the machine shop supervisor of any requirements or issues such as tooling shortages or machine failure at the earliest opportunity. • Work in a safe manner at all times. • Contribute to the attainment of departmental goals • Participate in continuous improvement program. • Adopt and practice Kaizen Principles and Concepts. • Participate in Kaizen and GEAR activities. • Perform other duties as assigned. Basic Requirements: • High school education or equivalent • 3 years experience in general machining or equivalent. • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings. • Ability to read, write and speak English. • Engineering qualification NVQ or HNC • CNC Programming Fanuc, Siemens skills • Able to Set/Operate CNC Lathes • Ideally able to Set/Operate CNC & Manual Mills • Complete QC Checks CNC Miller - Turner Programmer /Setter Operators Scope of Position: To produce machined parts as required while maintaining standards of accuracy and finish.
