We are currently recruiting for a Cook with catering experience to join our team based at City of Derry Airport, Derry/Londonderry. This is a great opportunity to join a world-leading facilities management company.
Working Pattern: 35 Hours per Week, 5 out of 7 Days per Week, Various Shift Patterns between 5am - 8pm (Option to be Flexible)

The Role:
* Help to keep the kitchen running smoothly by ensuring everything is clean, tidy, safe, and hygienic.
* Quickly clean equipment such as pots and pans for chefs and cooks to use again.
* Receive and store deliveries, perform stock rotation and replenishment.
* Organize the storeroom and ensure compliance with H&S in the workplace and HACCP system.
* Thoroughly deep clean the kitchen as required, including equipment and storage areas.
* Comply with all company and legal procedures relating to food safety, hygiene, health & safety, and personal requirements.
The Person:
* Attention to detail in all aspects of the work.
* Leads by example and embodies the company values.
* Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar leadership role within a culinary team.
* Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred.
* Workable knowledge of HACCP regulations and a Basic food hygiene certificate.
* Enthusiastic and passionate about customer service and reputation.
* Self-motivated, working independently and on own initiative.
* Flexible with a positive, can-do attitude.
* Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills to assist in understanding safety and work instructions and communicating with customers on a day-to-day basis.
