The Role:
As Group Finance Director, you'll be a key member of the senior leadership team - steering strategic financial planning while driving day-to-day financial operations. You'll partner closely with the CEO and Board, bringing both commercial acumen and hands-on expertise to guide our transformation journey.

Requirements:
1. Proven experience as Finance Director or senior finance leader in a multi-entity, service-led group
2. Recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
3. Strong strategic thinker with commercial awareness and Board-level influence
4. Expertise in financial planning, scenario modelling, and statutory reporting
5. Skilled in cashflow forecasting, financial controls, and governance
6. In-depth knowledge of UK tax and group-wide compliance strategies
7. Track record in finance transformation and cloud-based system optimisation (e.g. Sage Intacct)
8. Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management (banks, auditors, advisors)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead long-term financial strategy, aligned to growth targets
2. Oversee statutory accounts, reporting, budgeting, and working capital
3. Deliver clear financial insight to support commercial decision-making
4. Partner with the Commercial Director on forecasting and performance analysis
5. Drive automation and improvements across financial systems and reporting
6. Embed strong financial governance and risk frameworks
7. Lead and develop a high-performing finance leadership team
8. Manage external relationships with auditors, banks, and HMRC
9. Shape a tax strategy that ensures compliance and efficiency
10. Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Board during a key period of transformation
