Fabric Engineer - North West Integral are looking for an experienced Fabric Engineer to join our Public Sector Team, covering the Liverpool LIFT contract. We are looking foranindividual, with a broad understanding of building services and experience, with a calm manner that engenders a sense of trust with the clients and the rest of the site team. Specific experience at a day-to-day operational level to suit the environment. Responsibilities Ability to fault find and rectify. Maintain qualification levels. To support the contract management & admin team through the operations office, dealing with day to day engineering & other contract issues Deal with and resolve problematic persistent recalls. Monitor & record engineering performance Undertake quality control checks on both reactive & PPM tasks An ability to communicate with others effectively; this will include clients and end users. To have a flexible approach to working times so as to suit the client & business requirements. Respond to emergency situations in both normal & OOH working times Organise and direct sub contract labour as necessary. Conduct asset collections & condition surveys to assist the Contract Delivery Manager Maintain Health & Safety records and ensure good practice Other duties as requested by the Contract Delivery Manager to ensure smooth running of the contracts within the region. To carry out planned and reactive maintenance as instructed by the relevant manager. Including, but not limited to fault finding, test, repair and preventative maintenance of electrical building services equipment. Duties will also include carrying out various non- specialist building fabric maintenance tasks. To close / update completed PPM tasks on the CAFM system. To ensure company QA and site procedures are adhered to in all aspects. Ensure Company & Site, Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times. Maintain accurate site records/documentation in association with all site works. To inspect the condition of services and proactively deal with call-outs/repairs as required, and requested by management. Attend site emergencies and callouts, outside of normal working hours. Carry out tasks within typical plant room environments and at high level, working from platforms and ladders. All access and PPE will be provided. Keep and maintain all company issued tools in a safe and serviceable manner. To proactively work towards the continued success and support of the contract with a positive approach. Complete any other associated task requested by the management and as dictated within the operational scope of PFI/LIFT contracts. This job description sets out the main duties of the post. Previous Experience and Qualifications Previous experience within the Building Services Sector - Carpentry Preferred NVQ/Apprenticeship or equivalent in required trade Current Full UK driving licence A good awareness of Health & Safety working practices, COSHH, RIDDOR etc. Flexible approach to work.
