Due to continued growth, our client, a leading supplier and distributor serving the Construction, Engineering, and Building sectors, is currently recruiting for an experienced Account Manager to join their vibrant and growing team on a full-time permanent basis.
You will be responsible for dealing with clients, providing quotations, and processing orders in a timely manner, keeping customers up to date with the progress of deliveries.
Key responsibilities:
1. Building client relationships and having a proactive approach to existing customers within your territory.
2. Order processing and ensuring delivery in a speedy manner.
3. Compiling, sending, and chasing quotes.
4. Negotiating costs and closing the business.
5. Processing orders onto the system.
6. Sourcing materials from suppliers.
7. Dealing with incoming general customer enquiries.
8. Processing credits for orders.
9. General customer service and administration.
Essential requirements:
1. Previous experience within a similar role dealing with the construction, trades, or ideally engineering companies.
2. Able to demonstrate a strong focus on customer care with excellent communication skills.
3. Strong administration skills.
4. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
5. The ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
Offering:
1. Salary up to £35k per annum.
2. Hours working over 2 shifts: 8.30am - 5pm / 9am - 5.30pm (Shift agreed with successful candidate).
3. Holidays: 25 days plus 8 statutory holidays.
