The post is ideal for candidates either with a level of experience as an enforcement officer or just starting out in their planning career.
As a Planning Enforcement Officer you will be responsible for handling planning enforcement cases and dealing with prosecutions and appeals that will require site visits throughout the District.
We are looking for a forward-thinking individual who is committed to delivering continually improving standards of development within South Derbyshire. You will be encouraged and supported to develop your skills, knowledge and experience of planning and enforcement work.
You will have excellent communication skills and be able to identify and negotiate solutions to a range of complex planning situations.
