What will be expected from you?
* Handling enquiries from clients, solicitors, and other relevant parties.
* Recording detailed attendance notes for all correspondence.
* Opening and closing files, keeping them up-to-date with both electronic and hard copy correspondence, while ensuring compliance with SRA regulations and firm standards.
* Providing administrative support, including tasks such as photocopying and scanning.
* Drafting basic letters and preparing/submitting simple legal documents.
* Completing legal forms, registering documents, and submitting applications to the Court.
* Managing contact lists and calendars for fee earners.
* Tracking and monitoring deadlines.
* Conducting searches and registering Wills with Certainty.
* Preparing and submitting bills to the finance team on behalf of fee earners.
* Creating Estate Accounts using Excel.
* Providing reception cover.
* Preparing and handling banking and post tasks.
Is this the position for you?
* A solid understanding of the daily functions of a legal office.
* Strong computer skills, particularly in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Familiarity with case management software.
* Proficiency in the English language.
* Keen attention to detail.
