The Role Are you an expert in .NET, cloud architecture, and high-performance systems? Do you excel at designing scalable, resilient microservices and optimising complex software ecosystems? As a Lead Software Architect, you will: Design & implement high-performance, scalable .NET applications for IoT services. Architect and optimise microservices-driven cloud solutions using Azure/AWS. Enhance system reliability & security, ensuring fault tolerance and high availability. Lead API strategy, defining best practices for RESTful services and integrations. Drive DevOps & CI/CD excellence, refining automation, containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes), and deployment strategies. Mentor and guide development teams, promoting best practices in software architecture and engineering. Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives. What You Bring 10 years' experience in software development with C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET. Proven expertise in cloud architecture (Azure/AWS), designing and managing scalable, distributed applications. Deep understanding of microservices, event-driven architectures, and API-first development. Experience with SQL Server & NoSQL databases, optimising query performance and data storage strategies. Strong DevOps mindset, with experience in CI/CD pipelines, containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes), and automation. Security-focused approach, ensuring best practices in authentication, authorisation, and data protection. A problem-solving mindset, capable of leading architectural discussions and driving innovation. Bonus Points For: IoT expertise, understanding network protocols, telemetry data, and device communication. Knowledge of message queues (RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, Kafka) for event-driven architecture. Hands-on experience with serverless computing and cloud-native technologies. What's on Offer?
