We're looking for a hands-on Building Service Manager for our exciting new Watford Colosseum venue! As part of AEG Presents, you'll be the key person keeping our venue running smoothly.
Your Role:
Keep our venue in top condition with regular maintenance and efficient operations
Manage both in-house staff and contractors, stepping in when needed
Handle repairs like electrical work, plumbing, and carpentry (based on your skills)
Manage our preventative maintenance program to extend equipment life
Perform regular building inspections before events and for safety/compliance
Create action-focused reports on all maintenance services
Maintain high standards throughout the venue, with extra attention to priority areas
Represent Building Services in company and stakeholder meetings
Ensure we meet all legal requirements for building safety and maintenance
You Should Have:
Experience in managing maintenance of a complex building with a customer facing environment
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance
Proven ability to manage both staff and contractors
M&E Engineering qualification (technician level or higher)
Safety certifications like NEBOSH or IOSH Managing Safely (or willingness to train)
Experience with risk assessments and method statements
Budget management skills and understanding of customer needs
Valid UK Driver's Licence.
Experience and confidence working with BMS systems.

Where: You'll be based at the venue in Watford. You may need to be available to work evenings and weekends at events as and when required.
