Role Responsibility
As Finance Business Partner for the RMX Concrete business, you will manage the provision of the regional financial information and reports including performance plans, budget, and forecasts. The Finance Business Partner also provides financial advice, support and challenge as appropriate to drive performance.
1. Preparation of CAPEX schedules including capital expenditure authorisations, project evaluations and forecasts.
2. Provision of accurate, timely and SOx compliant accounting information to senior regional team and produce accounts that comply with company processes, procedures and statutory obligations ensuring balance sheet integrity.
3. Takes full responsibility for working closely with both finance colleagues and senior managers to ensure continuous improvements and value creation within the product line.
4. Provides support to the senior finance teams on financial reporting and analysis.
5. A key role working closely with RMX General Manager and their senior team as a business partner, providing financial advice, support and challenge as part of the decision-making processes including tactical and strategic planning and decisions.
6. Working closely with business and other finance colleagues to ensure clarification and understanding of business performance & consistent application of accounting policies and procedures.
7. Ensure relevant accurate management information is provided to the regional managers and their teams.
8. Ensure integrity of the regional accounting records and assets and liabilities.
9. Provide analysis and deliver insight that links financial reports to business strategy.
10. Improve the impact, and understanding, of financial reporting on business performance.
11. Produce robust and accurate forecasts and budgets.
12. Ensure key operational, commercial and financial targets are delivered.
13. Build partnerships and credible, lasting relationships with all senior managers and their teams and provide financial support to commercial decision making.
14. Present financial performance, full year forecasts and budget variances including understanding financial opportunities and risks.
15. Improve and develop safety awareness within the finance teams.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for Finance Business Partner will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of delivering value through financial expertise and business partnering skills. Finalist or fully qualified accountant, ACA ACCA CIMA or through experience with good knowledge of finance operations including relevant technical skills.
1. High level of SAP/BW/Excel skills.
2. Self-starter with inquisitive and challenging approach.
3. Good commercial and operational understanding of RMX business.
4. Able to work with multiple senior stakeholder groups.
