The role involves the inspection, testing, and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation panels/systems, both in-house and on-site. You will ensure all work is completed to specification and deadlines, liaise with customers on-site to ensure the completion of works, and assist in the building and wiring of control panels when required. Additionally, you will attend sites to complete modifications to existing or new panels as necessary.
The following qualifications and experience are essential:
1. City & Guilds- 2391 Test & Inspection.
2. City & Guilds 18th Edition.
3. Time-served electrician/instrument technician.
4. Experience in testing industrial control panels, on-site installation work, commissioning of systems, instrumentation, and control panel wiring.
5. Small bore pipe pressure testing.
6. Knowledge and understanding of 3-phase systems, MCC control panels, PLC systems, and schematic drawings.
