Job Title- Corporate Sales Associate.
Location- Melmerby, HG45NB. Office based.
The Sales Associate is a pivotal role within the sales team as they’re at the forefront of B2B customer interactions and are responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction through delivering an excellent sales service. This is a varied and multi skilled role including sales order administration and post-sale customer support. They’re also the driving force behind inbound sales opportunities from both new and existing clients therefore directly impact the businesses B2B sales growth and success.
Main duties-
Develop and maintain deep knowledge and thorough understanding of the entire product portfolio and range of services.
Timely response to corporate clients over the phone, via email or online chat, ensuring that all verbal and written communication is to a professional standard.
Proactively manage customer orders from receipt to completion whilst delivering exceptional customer service and resolving queries.
Cultivate & maintain productive and trusted long-term relationships with external clients and internal stakeholders across all levels.
Qualify, develop & convert inbound sales opportunities from both new and existing customers.
Monitor customer behaviour to identify trends.
Sales order processing and data entry with absolute attention to detail in terms of quality control and accuracy of data input.
Supporting various sales and retail-specific projects, ensuring all brands is impeccably represented at all times.
Co-ordinating the on-boarding of new clients, meticulously executing internal procedures.
Carry out any other reasonable duties as required by the employer.
Requirements-
5 GCSE's Grade A* to C, Including Maths and English.
Experience working in a fast paced, customer centric sales environment.
Experience working in a sales, administration or customer support role and an ambition to develop a career in sales.
Knowledge of the pre-paid or confectionery markets.
Working knowledge of sales and customer service concepts, methods and techniques.
Excellent listening skills, proven problem solver & solutions orientated attitude.
Computer skills in application of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and the ability to learn bespoke systems.
Show initiative with the ability to work independently on scheduled tasks and respond to ad-hoc business critical asks in a timely manner.
Professionalism with a strong sense of integrity & accountability.

The role is located at Melmerby, Barker Business Park, HG45NB and is office based.
Shift patterns vary between 08:30- 16:30, 09:00-17:00 and 09:30 to 17:30. Monday to Friday.
