We are seeking a talented and experienced First Line IT Support Manager to join our busy office in Aldersgate Street, London, EC1A 4HY. You will be responsible for leading our first-line support team, ensuring seamless IT operations for our 100+ users.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage 1st & 2nd line IT support and escalation, liaise with incumbent MSP.
2. Provide exceptional first-line technical support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Microsoft Suite, including Outlook on-premises.
4. Oversee PC setup, desk moves, and general IT infrastructure maintenance.
5. Manage network connectivity issues, ensuring stable and reliable network performance.
6. Administer and maintain IT systems, including user accounts and access permissions.
7. Log and track support requests using a ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution.
8. Develop and maintain IT support documentation and knowledge base.
9. Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT support processes.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in a 1st & 2nd line IT support role, with demonstrable leadership experience.
2. Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Suite, Active Directory, 365, including Outlook on-premises.
3. Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional).
4. Excellent troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, VPN, and network issues.
5. Experience with PC setup, desk moves, and general IT administration.
6. Strong understanding of network connectivity principles.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
9. A proactive and customer-focused approach.
Good to have:
1. Experience in recruitment business environment or similar telesales.
2. Knowledge of CRM/ATS systems (e.g., Bullhorn, or similar ATS).
3. Knowledge of VOIP for sales teams (e.g., CloudCall, 8x8 or similar).
