Due to the location of our estate, your own transport is recommended for this role www.thenewtinsomerset.com Our Management Accountant Join our established finance team as a dynamic, proactive, and commercially minded Management Accountant .This is a diverse role suited to someone adaptable and skilled at prioritising, with the ability to operate effectively across multiple industries. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly management accounts, including journal posting and variance analysis, in line with reporting deadlines. Perform balance sheet reconciliations, manage accruals and prepayments, and oversee fixed assets, creditors, and debtors. Assist with year-end audits, tax returns, and statutory accounts preparation. Support the creation of departmental budgets and forecasts. Deliver weekly sales reports and maintain system costings and core product data. Partner with colleagues to enhance financial controls and processes. Contribute to internal audits, performance reviews, and strategic improvements agreed with the Finance Controller and CFO. Provide ad hoc support as required to ensure the smooth running of the finance function. Strong commercial and skills and confident in working closely with the operational team to improve performance.
