About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to join our team at Mercure Inverness Hotel. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the hotel's facilities are always operating at the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage all proactive and reactive maintenance, external contractors, and hotel teams in line with the departmental budget.
* Support HODs to ensure all teams are correctly trained in the use of equipment and health & safety standards within the hotel.
* Manage all aspects of your own maintenance team, including training and development.
Requirements
* A degree or diploma in engineering, electrical or mechanical engineering, construction, or a related field.
* Relevant certifications, such as Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP), Certified Plant Maintenance Manager (CPMM), or Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM).
* Strong technical skills and knowledge in areas such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and building maintenance.
* Excellent communication skills, as you will need to communicate with hotel staff and guests.
* Organisational and problem-solving skills to manage maintenance schedules, prioritise tasks, and troubleshoot issues.
