As a Healthcare Assistant in Outpatients at our Tunbridge Wells Hospital, you'll bring relevant experience, a keen eye for detail and a flexible approach. You demonstrate patience, focus and excellent communication skills. A real team player, you have the diligence, IT literacy and passion for development and training to make a difference. And if you're qualified to NVQ Level 2 or 3, with relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting, that's even better. You'll show us you're able to meet deadlines and follow instructions. You have a good telephone manner, and great computer and database skills. Successful applicants must be qualified to NVQ Level 2 or 3. Experience in an acute hospital or care setting is desirable but not essential.
An exciting opportunity to learn new skills in a busy and varied environment. This position will give you the opportunity to be at the start of the patients journey through our hospital. Excellent communication skills are paramount to this role. The outpatient department is open 6 days a week, this role would require the successful applicant to work flexibly to meet the needs of the department.
As a Healthcare Assistant - Outpatients, you will have:
