Wood is recruiting for a Senior E&I Draughtsperson to join our Digital Operations team within our Digital Consulting business.
The position is based in Hull on a hybrid basis. However, for the right candidate, we would consider remote working across the UK, provided there is a willingness to travel to Hull and for site visits as required.
The Role
The Senior E&I Draughtsperson will be the last line of defense in ensuring that all documents and drawings are accurate up to as building before submitting for final review to the client.
The E&I Senior will use various CAD / Raster editing packages, assisting in creating mark-ups, checking and approving documentation adhering to all relevant standards, processes, and procedures.
This is a critical position within the draughting team. The successful candidate will be an experienced draughtsperson who is not only technically astute but also able to provide peer review and on-the-job coaching to less experienced members of the team. The Senior Draughtsperson will also be a key liaison to the client, updating them on any further documentation updates required and ensuring that all updates and revisions are collated in accordance with the required standards and timeframes.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced E&I draughtsperson with excellent communication skills, great attention to detail, and is looking for a varied fast-paced role with the opportunity to support in the development of the next generation of talented draughtspeople delivering work critical to the digitalisation of the energy and materials sectors.
