About the role: As a KS1 Teaching Assistant, your primary focus will be assisting low-achieving students and those with mild SEN needs, including ADHD. You’ll play a vital role in supporting pupils with boosters and interventions, helping them thrive academically and socially. You’ll work closely with class teachers to create a positive learning environment and offer one-on-one or small group support to ensure every student has the chance to succeed. Key Responsibilities: • Provide targeted support to students with special educational needs (SEN), particularly those with ADHD and mild learning difficulties. • Assist teachers with planning and delivering intervention sessions. • Work with pupils in small groups or one-on-one settings to boost confidence and academic performance. • Foster a nurturing and encouraging atmosphere to help pupils achieve their potential. • Help manage classroom behavior in line with the school’s policies.
