Project Assistant Location: Halifax, United Kingdom Salary: Circa £26.5k - Up to £30k (depending on experience) We are currently recruiting for a Project Assistant to join a dynamic team based in Halifax. Key Responsibilities: Assist with the delivery of major projects through high-level project management. Act as a point of contact for suppliers, clients, and site staff throughout the project duration, working alongside the contracts manager. Manage and maintain project documentation, ensuring all information is accurately recorded. Help plan projects, ensuring they are programmed in detail for the site team to deliver efficiently without delays. Oversee procurement for the project, ensuring all necessary items are ordered and delivered on time. Manage and control suppliers, ensuring all deliveries are received and accounted for. Work with the project team to prioritise, plan, and execute multiple projects simultaneously. Continuously seek cost-reduction opportunities while maintaining product quality and productivity. Attend internal and external project meetings to track progress and discuss upcoming projects. Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and accepted safe practices throughout the project lifecycle. Key Skills and Qualifications: Experienced in the use of Microsoft Excel. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to understand technical drawings and CAD systems (e.g., AutoCAD & Solid Edge) would be beneficial. University degree (minimum of a 2:1 honours degree). Ability to manage your time and the time of others effectively. Highly motivated, eager to learn, and grow within a fast-paced environment.
