Volunteering Opportunities within Business Development Team
Child Action Northwest is an award-winning charity providing a range of innovative and creative services across the North of England that support children, families, and vulnerable adults. Fundraising is important to us at CANW not only to raise money but also to raise awareness and build relationships with local businesses and the wider community. To maximize our potential within fundraising, we need as much help as possible from this role.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist with event planning and the running of events.
2. Support events by advocating on behalf of the charity.
3. Build positive relationships within the local community, including local businesses, schools, and members of the public.
4. Encourage businesses and organizations to adopt us as their chosen charity.
5. Assist with general office administration duties, including thank you letters, money collections, introduction emails/telephone calls, and collection box distribution.
6. Help with the administrative elements of fundraising and business development such as data entry/management, filing, and other general admin tasks.
