Job Responsibilities:
• Glass Cutting - Transfer CAD data and nest on the machine for optimised use to cut parts from glass sheet.
• Glass Grinding - Load CAD data, programme and operate one of the glass edge grinding machines.
• Glass Toughening - Use in-house bending - toughening processes on either flat glass, furnace, press bent glass toughing plant or sagged bending glass furnace.
• Glass Printing - Print large detail on to glass prior to going in the furnace.
This position requires the production of glass products to a high standard, with the ability to learn and understand the required quality standard. You will be trained to read and understand engineering drawings highlighting the product requirements. Must be able to lift and manipulate glass pieces during the assembly process; mechanised lifting is available for heavier pieces. All required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided.

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Attention to detail to ensure quality standards are achieved.
• Clear understanding and belief in behavioural-based Health & Safety.
• Ability to work in a calm, controlled manner with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to manage and prioritise workload.
• Self-starter with the ability to use initiative.
• Good communication skills.
• Understand and demonstrate the Company's core values and become involved in lean improvement initiatives.
