This is an exciting opportunity for a General Practitioner or an experienced Specialty Doctor/Associate Specialist to contribute to the work of the children in care team in adoption and fostering in Derbyshire.
The successful applicant willbe a member of the Children in Care (CIC) services at Chesterfield Royal Hospital (CRH) NHS foundation Trust.
The role involves reviewingmedicals undertaken by GPs in Derbyshire for adults who are applying to become adoptive parents or foster carers and the provision of written medical advice regarding their medical suitability (identifying any health concerns) to care for a child, to the local authority for foster carer or special guardianship applications or Adoption East Midlands for prospective adopters.
The salary scale will be in accordance with current salary.
