The role
We are currently recruiting for Project Managers with built environment experience.
What will you do?
1. Determine project management, technical services, and external resources required for the project on an individual and team basis.
2. Collaboratively work with the construction manager/delivery team and/or external resources to ensure successful project delivery in line with stakeholders’ expectations.
3. Manage consultant teams and project stakeholders to ensure effective completion of responsibilities including project brief/scope, fees, claims processing, deliverables, and project variations.
4. Display strong communication and negotiation skills to support client/customer focus.
5. Maintain the conversion program and ensure submissions are completed within agreed milestones.
6. Produce design and authorities programme integrated with procurement and delivery programme.
7. Manage timely delivery of concept, schematic, detailed design, and design development in accordance with the overall delivery program and project milestones.
8. Assist with timely sequencing/methodology and production of stating plans.
You will bring
1. Experience in complex project delivery within live operational environments.
2. Relevant tertiary qualifications in project management and/or construction-related discipline, with demonstrable intermediate role knowledge.
3. Knowledge of Construction and Property industries, understanding estimating, scheduling, field supervision, contracts administration, procurement, financial controls, and reporting.
4. Problem-solving and analytical skills for resolving planning, estimating, contract administration, and procurement issues.
5. Good interpersonal skills to prepare reports, negotiate, and build relationships with key stakeholders.
6. Experience working for a recognized consulting business.
