The Role: Project Support Officer/PMO Analyst - Kildean, Stirling 12 month Fixed Term Contract Full time - hybrid - 2 days per week in the office An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Support Officer/PMO Analyst to join the PMO team within the M&G Life Change team. The Life Change team joins up our capabilities, processes and governance across the M&G Life business area to deliver an annual programme of change across all Life business functions alongside multi-year transformation programmes underpinning delivery of our overall Life Strategy. The role of the Change function is to collaborate across the business to initiate, design and deliver strategic change in a holistic manner. This role will be a core member of the Change team and focus on delivering key PMO services across all portfolios to our key stakeholders. You will report to the Head of PMO and bring with you an experienced background of PMO. Key Responsibilities: · Develop and manage an aggregated (portfolio) view of delivery performance and reporting against the Change runway · Develop effective reporting packs (to Executive level) · Support ongoing data analysis and interrogation/interpretation of all key project deliverables including resource supply vs demand · Provide support and be familiar with all aspects of finance reporting on a monthly basis including tracking forecast vs actuals, receipting, accruals and cost movement at a project level as well as ability to aggregate at a programme/portfolio level · Provide proactive identification of delivery issues/ themes to stakeholders, Project Managers, Head of PMO and Change Directors with appropriate recommendations and corrective actions · Actively drive adherence to and ongoing review of effectiveness against our company wide Change Standard · Ensure that programmes and projects are being delivered within the current corporate governance framework · Provide proactive support to stakeholders both internally and our strategic partners including leading initiation workshops, supporting project health checks, facilitation of lessons learnt session etc. · Support both thematic and proactive analysis looking for areas of opportunity for continuous improvement You will have: · Experience of providing support to complex, diverse, ambiguous and high value programmes /projects · Experience of control and reporting for projects/programmes including resources and finances · Experience of Governance methodologies · Working knowledge of industry best practice, good network/links with external bodies and individuals in the same field. · Working knowledge of project constraints and complexity · Working knowledge of risk management principles and their impacts on projects · Working knowledge of project methodologies, planning processes and techniques · Ideally have knowledge of agile and waterfall approaches and experience of working with strategic reporting tools like ServiceNow and JIRA/Confluence Job Level: Experienced Colleague Recruiter: Sarah Mathers Closing Date: 3rd Feb 2025 We have a diverse workforce and an inclusive culture at M&G plc, underpinned by our policies and our employee-led networks who provide networking opportunities, advice and support for the diverse communities our colleagues represent.
