With a network of 2 other residential homes both operating at 'Good', we are planning for the opening of home 3. We have experienced senior leaders in the business who will be able to offer a safe space for children to thrive.
Responsibilities:
* Offer direct care and support to children in a residential setting, nurturing their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
* Act as a mentor and leader to support workers, providing guidance and supervision to enhance their skills and development.
* Contribute to the creation and implementation of individualised care plans tailored to meet each child's unique needs.
* Engage in team meetings and case reviews, fostering effective communication and collaboration among colleagues.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and organisational policies.
* Cultivate positive relationships with children, families, and external stakeholders involved in their care journey.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Residential Childcare (Children and Young People).
* Proven experience working in a residential children's home or similar environment, ideally in a senior or supervisory capacity.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building rapport and trust with children and colleagues alike.
* Strong leadership qualities and decision-making abilities, coupled with a compassionate and empathetic approach to care.
* Familiarity with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures governing the welfare of children and young people.

Salary: £31,500 - £33,300 per year
