An exciting and new opportunity has arisen to join the senior leadership team for South Manchester & Trafford Community Response services as the Community Matron.

Main duties of the job
In this role you will work closely with the Clinical lead and as part of the management team, providing clinical advice and leadership to colleagues in the organisation and working in partnership with a range of other agencies. You will have specific responsibility for clinical governance within the portfolio of services, driving the quality agenda and implementation of quality improvement strategies.
You will need to be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a driving passion and determination to support the clinical teams, with a focus on clinical quality. The successful candidates will need to have a good clinical knowledge base, together with proven experience of community working and leadership skills. A proven track record of supporting change processes, coupled with good influencing and negotiation skills are key attributes required for this post in order to provide an integrated and effective service focusing on the delivery and assurance of safe, high quality patient care across our services.
You will be resilient, hard working and have a strong work ethic, with the ability to manage complex situations as well as being well organised and innovative.
