The Role Be an ambassador for the new Procurement function Build and maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders Create value for the company through Procurement excellence Lead the Purchasing team to ensure high performance of the entire Supply Chain Ensure all Purchasing transactions are compliant with internal controls Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities in the Supply Chain Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best possible conditions Ensure all procurement activities are conducted in accordance with established procedures, local laws and regulations and direction from Senior Management The Person Minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar position Previous experience in a Procurement / Supply Chain role is essential Experience in a manufacturing environment is essential Procurement or Supply/Chain related qualification such as CIPS would be advantageous Basic knowledge of MS Office i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word etc Experience with any major ERP system is required Able to work autonomously on processes with agreed service levels Organised and able to organise others Proven stakeholder management skills Developed analytical skills What we offer Market-leading salary 25 Days holiday plus statutory Private healthcare Death in Service Outstanding employee assistance programme
