Women's Community Project Key Worker Location: Reading, UK (with travel across Berkshire, Oxford City, and South Oxfordshire) Job Type: Full-time Salary: £25,734 - £31,453 Join our dedicated team, an innovative women's community project that supports women facing multiple disadvantages, including those at risk of offending. We are looking for a Key Worker who is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of women, their families, and the wider community. Day to Day of the Role Hold a caseload of women, providing one-to-one support and facilitating group-based sessions. Conduct initial assessments of risk and need, and regularly review these assessments. Develop and review support plans in collaboration with service users and other agencies. Coordinate community interventions to help women meet their support plan objectives. Provide advocacy, support, and advice across all 9 rehabilitative pathways. Engage with local agencies to link services and reduce re-offending. Maintain accurate records and statistics for monitoring and reporting purposes. Participate in training and development opportunities and share learning with colleagues. Required Skills & Qualifications In-depth knowledge of issues facing women in the criminal justice system and those at risk of offending. Significant experience working with women experiencing issues related to offending such as homelessness, substance misuse, and domestic violence. Experience in conducting needs and risk assessments and managing complex caseloads. Strong written and verbal communication skills, proficient in Microsoft Office and virtual tools like Teams and Zoom. Ability to travel across specified regions; must have a full UK driver's license and access to own transport.
