Your Impact in This Role The Director Supply Chain Northern Europe is responsible for the Logistics Category and acts with specific expertise on all sub-regional logistics aspects for all our minerals and glass recycling in the region (UK and Nordics). As part of your role, you will be contributing to the replenishment flows/optimization and the tendering for intermodal logistics contracts for your region (raw materials by road, rail and shipping). You will also contribute to LPP analysis/benchmarking, driving secondary footprint optimization within your region. For the Supply Chain network, you will assess/define logistics requirements (based on Demand plan by Commercial and Supply plan set by Operations), identify/resolve gaps in transportation/warehousing requirements (also through sourcing/tendering or pulling from regional contracted suppliers). You are familiar with cost management and financial aspects of a P&L (gross margin, KPIs, efficiency). You have worked in a matrix organisation before and are able to interact/communicate easily at all levels within you region. Finally, you had solid exposure to SAP, as well as supply chain planning. What You Bring To The Table Bachelor Level, with SC/Logistics specialisation 6 years of experience in supply chain management and people management Experience in vessels, bulk, container, train, truck logistics Experience in change management and transformation Excellent English is vital.
