Job Description
The primary purpose of the role is to manage a legal case load and to give legal advice and guidance to officers and Elected Members of Clackmannanshire Council.
The cases you hold and advice you give will depend on your area of experience and specialism but may cover all matters which fall within the remit of the Legal team. We are particularly looking for a solicitor with experience in property law to provide advice to the Place service and all matters relating to property related matters. Experience in Planning and contract law would be beneficial.
The workload will be varied, challenging and interesting, dealing with some of the most high-profile property deals in Clackmannanshire. You will be supported in a collegiate environment and encouraged to develop a full range of legal and other skills.
You should also be comfortable in providing a broad range of advice and being able to identify when more specialist advice is required.
