Interior Designer -
Target Staff are sourcing a talented and passionate Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects while developing your skills in a supportive environment.
Working with my client will give you the opportunity to have your work come to fruition in some of the UK and Ireland's more prestigious locations. Paris has also been mentioned on several occasions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct detailed site surveys and create accurate design drawings using AutoCAD
2. Generate comprehensive design packages for client presentations, including:
1. Decorative elevations
2. Detailed plans and elevations
3. Mood boards and decoration boards
4. Bespoke item specifications, flooring, lighting, and paint schedules
3. Produce high-quality 3D visuals using industry-standard software
4. Create detailed FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) documents, specifying costs, lead times, specifications, and quantities
5. Manage the samples library, including ordering, organising, and tracking deliveries
6. Source and liaise with suppliers for samples, pricing, and lead time information
7. Identify and establish relationships with new suppliers to expand our design options
8. Provide administrative support to the design team as needed
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
2. 1-4 years of professional experience in interior design
3. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, and 3D visualisation software
4. Strong skills in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel for creating schedules and documents
5. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites
6. Excellent time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
7. Strong multitasking abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously
